A diet for detoxifying your body

Detox your body at least once a year!

Every now and then our body needs a detoxification period. This means that you should follow a diet that avoids meat, milk, eggs and cheese. This detoxification diet, applied in the appropriate moment can be a real boos for your general health.
A spring cleansing, some use this term for body detoxification is mostly recommended in the spring. The body needs a clean-up after the winter period and during spring time the fresh vegetables and fruits start to be more accessible.

People usually connect the body detoxification with the fasting rituals. Many religions involve fasting periods. As an example the catholics use the fasting diet before the Easter. During fasting time people usually avoid to eat foods generated from animals. I include here meat, milk, eggs and any other product that is made from animal food.

Following such a diet will lead you to a healthy body detoxification.
Detox your body now, using the following diet:

Monday
Breakfast: A cup of coffee or tea without sugar, 2 slices of toast with some vegetable pie, one tomato and a cucumber;
Between meals: an apple;
Lunch: Spinach and one tomato;
Between meals: A cup of green tea with lemon;
Dinner: 2 baked potatoes.

Tuesday:
Breakfast: a cup of coffee or tea without sugar and 2 slices of toast with jam;
Between meals: a kiwi;
Lunch: vegetables soup and 2 cooked peppers filled with rice;
Between meals: an apple;
Dinner: a salad of – lettuce, tomatoes, bunch of onion, cucumbers, olives, lemon, olive oil. No salt for the salad.

Wednesday
Breakfast: a cup of coffee or tea without sugar and 2 slices of toast with honey;
Between meals: a glass of fruits juice;
Lunch: a portion of spaghetti with vegetables;
Between meals: an apple;
Dinner: some vegetable soup or spinach.

Thursday
Breakfast: : a cup of coffee or tea without sugar, 2 slices of toast with vegetable pie, one tomato and a single cucumber;
Between meals: some pineapple;
Lunch: a portion of rice with vegetables and mushrooms+ lettuce;
Between meals: some pineapple;
Dinner: a salad of – carrots, celery, apple, olive oil and lemon.

Friday
Breakfast: : a cup of coffee or tea without sugar and 2 slices of toast with jam;
Between meals: an apple;
Lunch: leek with olives;
Between meals: one grapefruit;
Dinner: a portion of tomatoes soup with croûtons.

Saturday
Breakfast: a cup of coffee or tea without sugar + cereals + a glass of natural fruits juice;
Between meals: a glass of juice;
Lunch: some food prepared from celery;
Between meals: a cup of green tea with lemon;
Dinner: vegetables soup or tomatoes soup.

Sunday
Breakfast: a cup of coffee or tea without sugar + 2 slices of toast with honey;
Between meals: a grapefruit;
Lunch: vegetable soup and 2 cooked peppers filled with rice;
Between meals: 2 kiwis;
Dinner: a salad of – lettuce, tomatoes, bunch of onion, cucumbers, olives, lemon, olive oil. It’s important that you don’t add salt to this salad.
