One of the best and widely known drink is flat water with lemon. Yes, you heard it right, a healthy drink that lies just under your nose, but you prefer to drink Coke or Pepsi or some other junk stuff, right? Well if you answer with a Yes, this article will help you to change your mind or at least to give the flat water with lemon (or water-lemon) a chance. Why should I drink flat water and lemon?
First of all because it is natural. And as we all know natural things are the best for our organism. Second of all, it results in a refreshing combination for our body. From my point of view the answer is, Yes.
There are several opinions, some say that it does not affect the weight loss subject. But I say that it helps. I don’t know how much, but just imagine that you drink fluids daily. You replace a drink with calories with water-lemon that has no or very little calories. The daily influence is indeed minor, but imagine that you do it for 365 days a year. I am sure that it has a long term effect and helps people that want to lose weight. You should be 100% sure that it’s more healthy, as the most drinks offered in the stores, world wide. Believe me that you will do a great deal, if you quit your daily Coke for flat water with lemon.
How to prepare it?
This is so easy.
First get a glass of flat water and after that cut some slices of lemon an add them to the drink. It’s as easy as saying one, two, three. I prefer the water a little bit cold, preferably from the fridge. You have to test it, because we all have different preferences.
There are also different possibilities, by using mineral or tap water. I prefer flat water, because the tap water might not be that good, depends on your location. Mineral water creates the balloon effect in my stomach.

Our body is built 70% out of water. The amount of liquids needed by our organism depends on different factors like: temperature, humidity, how active we are and others. Humans need daily minimum 8 to 10 glasses of fluids, that’s about two liters. 20% of the daily water is obtained from foods and the rest from the actual drinking process. We eliminate water mostly through urine and sweating.
People that practice physical activities like playing a sport will drink more water because the dehydration trough the sweat process is faster. Our body is sweating when he needs to cool down. This process is a very important one for the people that target to lose weight. If you manage to sweat daily after a physical exercise you are on the right path in your weight loss program, but this is another subject that will be discussed in a later article.
